If you want to connect with the Earth, and you care about the ecology, this is your place. The natural bamboo cabins are super comfortable with clean bathrooms and ample hot water, a fridge, comfy beds and good interior lighting (and AC if you need it, I didn't). There is great porch seating where you can feel indoor/outdoor with the environment. The overall very spacious grounds are in a beautiful forest that they didn't cut down the way many other hotels have, so you are in the environment, not separate from it. Just walking around the grounds itself is pleasurable, so you don't need to leave to connect to nature. Breakfasts are served under the shaded trees at the ocean's edge at nice bamboo tables and there is comfortable furniture to lay down on next to the beach. This is also the kind of place you want to be if you like walking outside at night under the stars and moonlight and it is immediately adjacent to beautiful Long Beach, which you can visit day and night and swim in the usually gentle waves and comfortable warm water. The management is friendly, helpful and eco-conscious. They will make arrangements for you for local transport in vans and boats. In my case, I needed minor medical attention and they arranged a transport to and made an appointment for me at a great local clinic. The maid service is also great. High season or low season, this place is a great value and worth the price. Also several good restaurants easy walking distance.

We stayed 18 days at this Hotel and were absolutely happy. I can not really understand the bad comments here because if you see the pictures you know what to expect. This is a resort which is simple, rustique and authentic. We had a great time because of this reasons. what we liked the most: it was simple but had an air condition. we had a lot of space to sleep in the main room with our daughter, no one had to sleep somewhere else. nevertheless it was good to know there was a second room. we also had a lot of space on the terrasse. there was not just 2 chairs, we had two long benches with space for everyone and a hammock! we also had a lot of space for our belongings and quite a lot of power outlets. if you like nature this is also a very nice place for you. there were a lot of plants, in the morning you could hear a lot of birds. yes, the way from the main street is not made of concrete and this is beautiful. it is passable for vehicles and nice to walk. during day time it has shadow. let‘s say: the resort had everything we needed and we would recommend it. it is not a luxury resort. I wish there would be more places like this in thailand.

The biggest asset of this resort is its location and the amazing natural shade (huge trees giving shade onto the beach and even the sea in the morning!). Almost none of the resorts/hotels have it! Despite the huts being a bit worn down, they are still ok, clean, and AC works. The food in their restaurant is good value for money, the breakfast as well. We loved mango smoothies! The massage is amazing at 400 BHT, it's in an open space hut, overlooking the beach so you're istening to the waves instead of a cheesy elevator music - loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful! There's also a really cool and unpretentious bar called Singhtos. It's great to hang out and get useful information about Koh Lanta!

The resort has a beautiful setting on Long Beach and was perfect for watching sunsets (the resort is conveniently located about the halfway along the beach). The bungalow we stayed in was simple, but well-maintained with a large master bedroom and decent-sized bathroom. Also, the porch had plenty of seating space, including a hammock. The resort manager was really friendly, as were his pet huskies and cat! He recommended great day tours and helped us to book them. Other staff at the resort were attentive and helpful too. The resort breakfasts were nice, especially the pancakes. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the resort and being on Koh Lanta.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Eco Lanta Resort. It was low season when I was there so it was very quiet and calm, which is exactly what I wanted. The staff were so friendly and helpful and there was a lovely family atmosphere. If there was anything I needed I could just ask and I was well looked after. The room was comfortable, with all the amenities working properly. I spent most of my time on the balcony overlooking a beautiful view of the trees and beach, which was incredibly relaxing. A lot of thought and care has been put into Eco Lanta with a heavy use of bamboo to construct almost everything.
